Iconic 1950s prom dress in a pink orchid.

Fitted bodice with wrapped pleated waist band and shelf bust.
Strapless with draped tulle that wraps across the front of the bust.
Side metal zipper.

Skirt is heavily gathered and consists of three layers; heavy lining, middle layer tulle, and the top layer that is home to all the swirly ruffled bands of tulle.

Back is accented with a huge bow that covers the back of the dress and trails to the hem.

Very good condition. Cleaned and ready to go. There are a number of repairs that really get lost in the fullness of the skirt. As you go around the skirt, you can see where the light has faded the pink a bit. Seen in pics. The taffeta of back bow is also faded. None of which detract from the beauty of this piece.
