Amazing ensemble that was so iconically 1960s.
If you have been watching "Feud" you might expect this ensemble to be worn by the character of Babe Paley.
Ensemble includes 3 pieces; a simple a-line dress with a very minimal slip top, a white lace shell that zips up the back, and a matching open front short jacket.
Fabric is heavy shantung silk in a luminous soft yellow. Perfect for spring.
Dress is a classic 1960s mod dress with a fitted bodice that is no more than a simple sheer liner to serve as a foundation for the shell and jacket.
Back zipper.
Skirt is a classic a-line and almost "puffy".
Shell is a pretty heavy cotton floral lace with back zipper. Hangs loose and straight.
Belt loops but no belt.
Jacket has open front styling, 3/4 length sleeves and collar.
Fully lined.
