Vintage evening gown opera coat ensemble,
1960s soft pink damask custom column dress and duster

These ensembles were all the rage back in the day. Usually custom made for a particular client and particular event. So chic!

Very lightweight compared to others I've come across.
Fabric is a sturdy, almost taffeta feel, in a shiny floral damask.

Dress-
Simple and classic 1960s cut with an empire waist and a-line skirt and back walking slit.
Pretty velvet trim and bow accent the empire.
Back metal zipper.

Coat-
Scalloped neckline.
2 button close at the breast bone.
Full and flowing with a pleat down the back for extra fullness.
Sleeveless.

Both pieces fully lined.

Excellent condition - Appears unworn.
