vintage dressing gown robe,
1940s shiny white satin and yellow embroidery peignoir housecoat,
Old Hollywood

Isn't she lovely?
Presents well but was definitely loved.

Fabric is a flowing white silky satin.
Fitted bodice with the usual gathering under the bust and at the shoulders.
Pretty yellow embroidery accents the bodice.
Front wraps and closes with two snaps. Move them to adjust waist.
Tie sash included; not sure if it is the original one.
Sleeves are puffed and have the same pretty embroidery.
Flared open front skirt.
So old Hollywood.

Very good condition. She has been loved. Sturdy. The fabric is a looser weave which has resulted in some seam stresss here or there. There is a mark on the back of the bodice which really isn't too obvious. The most unusual note is the "dimpling" or "denting" of the fabric on the back of the skirt. Have no idea what caused it. see last pic.
