Mike Benet has been making amazing formal gowns for decades and this one is a fine example.
New Old stock from Carolyn Coe House of Fashion.

Done in a soft orange, or as the tag says, "Melon".

Bodice is cut in a 1940s style with the gathered bust line and wide inset waist band. Deep V front.

Pretty sequin flowers accent the front in a vine like pattern, and beads outline the waist. So 1940s.

Skirt is gathered at the sides of the waist, with a smooth laying front.

The liner of the skirt is made of a sturdy, acetate feeling fabric, and is cut in an a-line.

The flowing top layer is cut in a full circle and is sheer and ethereal.

Back zipper. Just stunning.


Excellent condition. New old stock.
